Accounting Supervisor jobs in Kansas

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules in compliance with US GAAP on a monthly basis for several domestic and international affiliates
• Ownership of the general ledger and all related monthly account reconciliations
• Prepare electronic month-end close documentation binders
• Participate in monthly group consolidation process including preparing adjusting and elimination entries
• Weekly payment review
• Intercompany invoicing and reconciliation
• Budget and forecast
• Communication of accounting topics with overseas financial staff
• Complete ad-hoc reporting and analysis as necessary
• SOX internal control compliance
• Regulatory reporting
• Supervision of staff

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• 5 years Accounting related experience
• Bachelor's Degree, Accounting required
• Proficient in MS Office and advanced skills in Excel
• Experience with reporting financials in accordance with US GAAP
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX or Peoplesoft Financials is a plus
