Our client is a prominent business services company, renowned for delivering innovative solutions to clients across diverse industries nationwide. As a leader in their industry, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Accounting. The Director of Accounting will be responsible for steering the company’s financial strategy and ensuring the accuracy and transparency of their financial reporting. Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the financial reporting process, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements
• Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, reports, and budgets
• Manage a team of 5 accounting professionals
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data for strategic decision-making
• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard financial assets
• Stay abreast of industry trends, accounting standards, and regulatory changes

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred
• Proven experience (5 years) in a senior-level accounting or financial reporting role
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
