Accounting Clerk performs routine accounting activities such as data entry, maintenance of the general ledger, preparation of various accounting statements and financial reports. Reviews, codes, and verifies transactions including billings, invoices, checks, and journal entries. Being an Accounting Clerk assists in completing moderately complex calculations using spreadsheets and other software tools. Reconciles accounts and bank statements. Additionally, Accounting Clerk has a basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Accounting Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Responsibilities:- Assist the Hiring Center Manager and Recruiter with forecasting and meeting field staffing requirements
- Maintain a strong relationship with field management and successfully recruiting/processing new craft labor
- Process all applicants and must be able to assess their skills in cooperation with the Recruiter to successfully recommend job placement
- Willingness to learn and enforce employment law and company policy to ensure an appropriate employment process and to sustain accurate employee records
- Proactively assist in the management of the Company’s unemployment program efforts
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1-3 Years HR Experience would be helpful
- Must be bilingual
- Customer service oriented
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Proactive, forward thinking and comfortable asking questions
- Positive attitude
- Excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills
- Organizational skills, high level of accuracy, attention to detail, time management skills
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office
