Account Management Director manages and develops sales plans for a team of account managers. Focuses on the long-term planning and selling of a variety of products, services, and/or solutions across multiple lines of business for a defined group of existing clients. May be personally responsible for managing major accounts. Additionally, Account Management Director sets sales targets and quotas and makes recommendations for product improvements or expanding sales channels. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. To be an Account Management Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.   • Position Overview

    The Director of Account Management & Customer Service is responsible for leading the Account Management and Customer Service Representative (CSR) teams. This role involves cultivating and nurturing relationships with key clients, collaborating with sales and marketing teams to drive revenue generation, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. The director will also develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team, manage customer engagement, and provide regular sales reports.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee the Account Management and CSR teams.
    • Lead the account management team in cultivating and nurturing relationships with key clients.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts, understanding their needs, addressing concerns, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
    • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify growth opportunities, develop account strategies, and drive revenue generation.
    • Ensure weekly OORs (Order of Operations Reports) are consistently issued to all A accounts.
    • Oversee Quarterly Business Review (QBR) preparation for A accounts.
    • Develop KPIs for Account Managers (AMs) and CSRs.
    • Drive best-in-class communication with customers.
    • Ensure weekly updates by the AM team on the monthly order forecast.
    • Manage the Account Management department to ensure customer requirements and proper engagement are met.
    • Create sales reports for forecast vs. actual and gross margin monthly.
    • Interface with customers personally and through team members as required.
    • Display and/or demonstrate product knowledge, emphasizing Veza Mfg. Corp.’s capabilities to support customer assembly service needs.
    • Support efforts to compile materials pricing for the quoting team as needed.
    • Provide sales reports to the CCO regarding current and prospective customers.
    • Work with Account Managers to close all open quotes.
    • Conduct performance reviews for account managers yearly with possible salary increases.
    • Work 40 hours a week in a hybrid setup, allowing participation in all business phases if needed.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
    • Adhere to safety requirements, keep the workspace clean and orderly, report to work in a healthy condition, and avoid alcohol, drugs, or other harmful influences.
    • Participate in safety activities, report unsafe practices and safety incidents, communicate issues or improvement opportunities to management, and report non-conforming products or processes.

    • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Proficiency in speaking and reading English.
    • Good vision and hearing.
    • Experience using a keyboard and mouse.
    • Competency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • Excellent writing and speaking communication skills.
    • Personnel management skills.
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; undergraduate degree preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, 3 years in customer service, and 2 years in account management or program manager roles.
    • Experience in contract manufacturing, cable/harness, and/or overmolding preferred.
    • Ability to sit and work at a station for prolonged periods without limitation.
    • Ability to perform daily tasks requiring repetitive use of hands and other body parts.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
