Workers' Compensation Manager is responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing a company's workers' compensation program. Implements all matters of the program, including claim investigations, settlements, and litigation. Being a Workers' Compensation Manager establishes standards and procedures for all matters relating to workers' compensation. Responsible for finding an insurance provider that meets organizational goals of employee coverage and cost effectiveness. Additionally, Workers' Compensation Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of unit/department. The Workers' Compensation Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Workers' Compensation Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     The Role You'll Play to Create Success

    We are happy to announce a full-time Workers' Compensation Claims Processor position filled with many exciting opportunities! In this role, you will have the opportunity to impact the FrankCrum business everyday by processing injury reports and performing follow up tasks on assigned cases.

    • Receives injury report data and enters into company database
    • Maintains accurate and up-to-date notes on cases until closure
    • Triages with client, injured worker, and medical facility to determine the severity of the injury and the appropriate care plan
    • Obtains wage records, application copy, and supporting medical documentation for the claim file
    • Assists providers, adjusters, injured workers, and clients regarding their claims
    • Conducts monthly urgent file reviews with TPA adjusters
    • Processes and finalizes the OSHA 300 logs at year end for distribution to clients.
    • Clocks in and out consistently and accurately by using the electronic timeclock system for all time worked and does not perform any work when not clocked in

    Keys to success in this position include knowledge of workers' compensation claims processing and workers' compensation regulations and laws. Four (4) years of workers’ compensation claims processing experience and high school education or equivalent required.
