ESS is seeking a skilled Mid-Level Web Developer to join our team and contribute to the development and optimization of web and desktop applications that support our systems. The ideal candidate is an experienced developer with a strong background in full stack development, an innovative mindset, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.
What You’ll Do At ESS- Design, develop, and implement web applications to support the functionality and operation of ESS Inc.'s products.
- Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, and maintenance.
- Develop and maintain software documentation, including design specifications, technical documentation, and user manuals.
- Optimize web applications to improve performance, stability, and usability.
- Diagnose and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with team members to conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Participate in regular team meetings to provide updates on project status and discuss technical challenges and solutions.
Minimum Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional web development experience.
- Proficiency in C#, .NET Core, SQL, jQuery, CSS.
- Experience with Git or similar version control systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Ajax.
- Building responsive and user-friendly sites.
- Entity Framework or other ORM.
- .NET Framework.
- Dapper.
- AVEVA PI Asset Framework.
- Data analysis or report generation.
- Familiarity with energy storage systems or renewable energy technologies.
