Minimum Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Associate degree preferred in Engineering, an environmental science, or a closely related field preferred. A combination of higher education for experience may be considered.
Minimum Experience: Six (6) years’ experience in water treatment and water distribution systems. Three (3) years’ direct supervisory experience.
Minimum Certification: Class A Water Treatment Plant Operator Certification.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Water Treatment Plant Manager assists the Public Works Director with the supervision, coordination, and operation of the Water Treatment Plant; to ensure essential services are provided to maintain the public infrastructure to provide for public safety, health, and welfare.
COMPENSATION:
Salary Range: $32.01/hr- $44.82/hr DOQ.
