Waste Water Treatment Plant Manager supervises the operations and maintenance of a wastewater treatment plant to ensure compliance with regulatory procedures and reporting practices. Oversees sampling and testing systems, and the testing and maintenance of pumps, conveyors, blowers, and other equipment. Being a Waste Water Treatment Plant Manager ensures staff is up-to-date with all federal, state, and local regulations and environmental guidelines. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or other tech degree. Additionally, Waste Water Treatment Plant Manager typically reports to a manager or director. The Waste Water Treatment Plant Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Waste Water Treatment Plant Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. About The Role
As a Back Plant Operator, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and environmentally sound operations of industrial systems and equipment associated with Reworld's industrial disposal process.
Position Responsibilities:- Perform assigned operational tasks and inspections utilizing various types of designated industrial equipment and hand/power tools
- Complete routine inspections of assigned equipment and document details in accordance with facility procedures
- Troubleshoot assigned equipment and responsibly report issues and repair requests utilizing defined work order processes and procedures
- Utilize weekly activity books and critical items checklist to perform operational and equipment related function checks
- Safely perform lock-out/tag-out processes of equipment in support of assigned maintenance teams
- Additional duties as assigned to ensure safe and efficient facility operations
- High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Must have experience operating heavy industrial equipment
- Must have the ability to work a rotating shift schedule

- The expected hourly rate for this position is $25.70 - $32.00. This is a good faith estimate of what we expect to pay for this position. The final hourly rate will take into account a variety of factors including experience, ability, and location. Reworld a is committed to paying its staff equitably, and these ranges should not be considered career salary limits or caps.
- Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb
- Ability to lift/carry 50lbs
- Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces
- Qualify to wear a full-face respirator
- Consistently work in various weather conditions
