Voice Communications Manager is responsible for managing the policies and procedures of voice communications. Ensures uninterrupted access to all voice telecommunication features including voicemail, ACD or PBX systems. Being a Voice Communications Manager oversees the design and implementation of voice telecommunications networks. Selects vendors and negotiates contracts. Additionally, Voice Communications Manager reviews reports on system specifications in support of system upgrades and makes final decision regarding updates. Involved in long-range or strategic voice communications plans. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a top management. The Voice Communications Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. The ideal Lead Voice and Data candidate must have extensive experience with the installation, termination, and testing of ICT structured cable in commercial environments. Responsible for configuring, installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, implementing, and planning Wide Area Network (WAN), Local Area Network (LAN), wireless, wired, and voice telecommunication systems. The candidate should have knowledge of BICSI guidelines for proper install and termination procedures. This position requires that you be able to train and supervise apprentices in a team environment while facilitating the installation of cabling and electronics. A focus on safety, quality, production and schedule is fundamental to all work performed. Employees are expected to be committed to excellence and generate a high quality of work. All employees are expected to consistently report to work on time, work well with other employees to accomplish a common goal, and maintain a safe work environment. MCA Communications will provide hard hat, safety glasses, gloves and safety vest which must be worn at all time while on the job site. Employees must provide their own hand tools.
