Videographer jobs in Maine

We are looking to hire an experienced and passionate wedding cinematographer for our wedding company.

Candidates must have at least 2 years of wedding filming experience as well as professional-grade gear (see below for details on gear requirements). We are currently offering an hourly rate of $85.00 for shooting video only (no editing!) with online raw footage uploaded to our cloud storage system.

If you would like to respond to this ad, please include experience (years shooting weddings and estimate of number of weddings shot), equipment, website or social media links, long form video of the entire day, and a highlight film of a wedding you have completed. Equipment List Requirements

• Professional DSLR/Mirrorless Camera or Camcorder System. Cameras must have a minimum recording resolution of 1080p, but 4k is preferred. Two or more cameras must be utilized during all of the main formalities of the wedding day (Ceremony, Special Dances, Toasts etc.) to ensure that we have constant footage available of the wedding day’s main formalities.

• Recording Resolution: Minimum 1920x1080, however 4k resolution preferred. The ability to shoot in 60fps for much of the day is preferred. Otherwise in 24fps.

• Lenses: Please utilize only professional grade, constant aperture video lenses when capturing footage, preferably with image stabilization and good autofocus built into the lens.

• Audio Equipment: External Field Recorders, Wireless Lav Mics, Shotgun Microphone. We request that a field recorder (i.e. Zoom H4n, Tascam DR-40 etc.) be connected to the sound system during ceremonies and receptions. We also request that during ceremonies both the officiant and the groom are attached with a lav mic. Additionally, we prefer that at least one camera have a shotgun microphone mounted to it as further audio backup and for ambient sound.

• Stabilization: For stabilization we accept tripods, monopods, and gimbals/steadicams. We require that all tripods and monopods utilize a fluid video head for smooth motion.

• Lighting: For all indoor reception scenes, we request that a fill light is utilized, even if your camera is designed for strong low-light performance. We request crisp and clean footage.
