Key Responsibilities:
- Video Production:
- Record live athletic events, practices, and other related activities.
- Operate video cameras, audio equipment, and lighting during shoots.
- Ensure high-quality footage by managing framing, focus, and exposure.
- Post-Production:
- Edit raw footage into polished videos using video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro).
- Add graphics, music, and effects to enhance video quality.
- Create highlight reels, promotional videos, and other content as needed.
- Content Management:
- Organize and archive video footage systematically.
- Maintain a library of all recorded content for easy retrieval and future use.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the athletic communications and marketing teams to plan and execute video projects.
- Coordinate with coaches, athletes, and other staff to capture required footage.
- Social Media and Online Presence:
- Assist in managing and updating video content on the college’s athletic website and social media platforms.
- Create engaging content that drives fan engagement and supports marketing initiatives.
- Equipment Maintenance:
- Maintain and care for all video equipment.
- Report any technical issues and ensure equipment is in good working condition.

Current enrollment at UCA
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for sports and knowledge of various sports rules and terminology is recommended.
- Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
- Familiarity with social media platforms
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Animation and motion graphic experience utilizing After Effects is a plus but not required.
- Be willing to learn the ins and outs of working in an athletic social media department.
- Personal camera equipment preferred but not required.
