The business is Seeking a Sales Marketing leader from the world of general aviation or aerospace component/avionics manufacturing or MRO to lead the commercial team and develop the marketing strategy for this legacy brand.
Mission Critical Objectives | Year 1
- Conduct an in-depth analysis, through speaking with customers and targets in the marketplace, to gain an understanding of Wipaire’s current market and best opportunities for steady growth.
- Learn current business processes, products, and services, forecasting methodologies and begin to evaluate opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain a strong backlog of business that provides stability and growth for Wipaire.
Professional Experience Qualifications
- Previous experience with building and leading sales and marketing teams in the aviation industry.
- Previous experience in aviation sales strongly preferred.
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally.
- Proven track record in creating and managing a new business pipeline; experience in developing new markets and building contact networks.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Leadership in the continuous evaluation of organization performance against the annual budget and long-term strategy, and of short and long-term strategic budgets.
- Able to provide direction with regards to the implementation of new practices and procedures, and efficient control and utilization of financial resources.
- Knowledge of best practices in FAA, OSHA, and other federal and state regulatory requirements.
