Veterinary Technician jobs in Utah

Looking for a full-time, experienced Veterinary Technician for a busy, non-corporate practice in Cottonwood Heights. We are a team oriented family practice.

Must have excellent communication skills, and be able to interact with pet owners and coworker in a positive friendly manner. Must have an understanding of animal behavior and strong clinical skills in order to properly evaluate an animal's condition and provide treatment. They must be detail-oriented and well-organized, carry out instructions, document patient stats and update records. It's also essential that they enjoy working with animals and have the ability to comfort, handle and restrain large and small pets. Previous experience with lab test and dental cleaning a plus. Candidate will be monitoring patients under anesthesia and should have basic knowledge of monitoring equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
