Secondhand Hounds (soon to be The Bond Between) is searching for a Veterinary Technician to join our team in the Veterinary Center!
Secondhand Hounds is a 501(c)3 non-profit, foster based organization. In 2019, we created our own veterinary center to focus on our own foster animals' needs. While we have put a big focus on our foster animals, as of 2021, we started seeing pets in our community. SHH is unique that we offer a "marriage" of both rescue animal and owned animal medicine & surgery which allows our veterinarians to see an array of cases!
All revenue generated from owned animals that are seen at our facility are put back into the SHH's general funds to help us continue to save lives and say "yes!" to helping animals in need!
We are looking for a self-starter who thrives in a fast paced and collaborative environment. Our technicians have rotating roles in appointments, float tech, and surgery. Our technicians work four 10 hour work days with one set day off per week. Saturdays are on an as needed basis.
At Secondhand Hounds, we promote a healthy work life balance and encourage our team to have fun at work while providing excellent medical care to our patients. Our clinic culture is based on our 5 core values that define who we are and we fully embrace them to build our culture.
