We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Used Car Manager to join our team. As the Used Car Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales and operations of our used car department. Duties:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the used car department, including inventory management, pricing, and vehicle appraisals
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed monthly sales targets
- Provide sales support and guidance to the sales team, assisting with negotiations and closing deals
- Monitor and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Manage the sales pipeline, tracking leads and following up on potential customers
- Conduct regular performance evaluations of the sales team, providing feedback and coaching as needed
- Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and service, to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and attend training sessions as required
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the automotive industry
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, including public speaking abilities
- Ability to lead a team and motivate others towards achieving sales goals
- Knowledge of retail sales principles and practices
- Proficient in using CRM software to manage customer relationships
- Valid driver's license
