The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented team player who will be the first point of contact for visitors at the office, greeting them in a polite and well-spoken manner. Scope of Position
Performs, coordinates and oversees technical and office administrative duties in support of the front desk/receptionist requirements.
Responsibilities- Provides support to the ULN programs to include greeting and assisting visitors, handling phone calls and inquiries, and word processing support.
- Responsible for intensive data entry in a timely manner.
- Accountable for handling of sensitive, confidential information; attend weekly meetings as scheduled and attend and participate in monthly staff meetings.
- Participate in on-going training and staff development opportunities.
- Performs related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates.
- Administrative experience in a community-based, non-profit setting.
- Proficient in a variety of Microsoft office software (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Must be able to type accurately.
- Requires good communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills demonstrating ability to relate diplomatically with a diverse range of customers and service providers.
- Equally at ease when interacting with business and community leaders, administrators, state officials, subordinates, staff and clients.
- Requires knowledge, understand and functional, technical, problem solving/decision making skills.
- Able to lift up to 10 pounds maximum and occasionally lifting or carrying such articles as files, packages, deliveries. Walking and standing are required only occasionally.
