Trust Team Manager manages and oversees a team of Trust Officers assigned to the largest and most complex trust accounts. May manage the administration of other credit and wealth management related products and services. Being a Trust Team Manager typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department or Top Executive. The Trust Team Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Trust Team Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Application Manager

  • The Application Manager will research, define, rationalize, syndicate and implement application systems throughout the lifecycle of change. This role will plan lifecycle strategies and agendas for all Bank application platforms, ensuring upgrades and changes follow change management standards and practices. The Application Manager will assist in application tuning and monitoring, trouble-shoot integration and production issues while driving support to meet or exceed service level agreements, communicating effectively with all business partners across issues and incident management.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and manage a team of application developers, analysts, and engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
    • Define, build and upgrade maintenance calendars for the application portfolio.
    • Research and define vendor deliveries to sustain upgrade paths, including SW development & infrastructure planning for necessary upgrades or periodic releases.
    • Define and syndicate portfolio exceptions for risk, support and SLA impacts.
    • Apply the standard change management practices of the Bank to all upgrades, maintenance and delivery scenarios. Coordinate integrations, infrastructure and/or SW development changes with an integrated delivery & test plan.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and objectives, and develop project plans and timelines.
    • Lead the application-centric identification, collaboration and resolution for production issues and incidents, using the Incident Management process of the Bank.
    • Drive continuous accuracy of issues and communications to partners and management.
    • Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to testing, deployment, and maintenance.
    • Ensure adherence to software development best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes.
    • Monitor application performance, identify and address performance bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to improve efficiency and scalability.
    • Manage vendor relationships and third-party service providers, including contract negotiation, performance evaluation, and compliance oversight.
    • Provide continuous support of business continuity practices and procedures.
    • Continuous support of audit practices as directed by management and the development of self-service audit capabilities to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
    • Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in application development and management.
    • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 8 years of experience in application development, software engineering, or a related role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
    • Proven track record of successful project management and delivery of complex software projects on time and within budget.
    • Strong technical expertise in application development frameworks, languages, and tools, such as Java, .NET, Python, or similar.
    • Experience with modern software development methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or DevOps.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving results and achieving business objectives.
    • Relevant certifications, such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM), are highly desirable.
