Inland Truck Parts & Service is looking to hire a Service Technician / Diesel Mechanic for our Missoula, Montana location. With over 75 years of business and 38 locations, we offer clean, well-equipped, and ventilated facilities that provide plenty of opportunities to develop your skills.

To be considered, you must have at least 3 years of medium and heavy duty truck repair experience, ideally 5 years.

Job Responsibilities for a Service Technician / Diesel Mechanic

Work schedule: Monday – Friday, NO WEEKENDS

The position will involve, but not be limited to, the following:

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on class 6 to class 8 heavy-duty trucks
• Excellent troubleshooting capabilities within all heavy-duty truck and trailer systems componentry. For example: hydraulics, engines, electrical, drive train, suspension, HVAC, braking systems, etc.
• Proactively maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Work independently, as well as part of a team

Requirements:

• Candidates must have mechanical ability/ skills/ knowledge
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Own tools
• Ability to read & understand manuals/ diagrams
