This position reports to the Treasury Services Manager and is responsible for assisting the Manager with the management of cash and investments. In conjunction with the Manager, ensures that cash and investments are properly allocated and transferred between the affiliates and the MaineHealth corporate entity. As assigned, is responsible for reconciling cash, investments, and related due to/from accounts to ensure that financial records properly reflect cash and investment positions. Is responsible for escheatment reporting and unclaimed property compliance. Assists with cash forecasting and reporting. Prepares compliance reporting for bond and loan agreement covenants, as well as bond proceed spending. Provides backup to Manager for banking system administrator functions.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related financial field with a minimum of five years' accounting experience.

License/Certifications: N/A

Experience: Minimum of three years' experience in electronic banking systems with a strong understanding of fraud control.

Proficiency with Excel spreadsheets.

High level of problem solving skills necessary to maintain effective, efficient, accurate, and compliant processing operations.

Ability to communicate effectively within the Fiscal Services department and to establish good working relationships with member organizations and other affected stakeholders.

High level of organization and time management skills necessary to prioritize work flow and to adjust priorities as deadlines dictate.

Ability to handle a high volume of data in a very fast-paced and changing work environment.

Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

Although not required, experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems a plus.
