Join our esteemed team at PTS, a well-established Utah-based organization with a proud 30-year history, as we embark on a search for a dedicated Phlebotomy Instructor at our prestigious Glastonbury location.

Position: Phlebotomy Instructor/Director

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive instruction in the art of phlebotomy for aspiring phlebotomists.
• Cultivate a positive, encouraging, and safe learning environment for students during lecture and all clinical drawing portions.
• Encourage and support students throughout the program to ensure successful completion.
• Deliver our insightful curriculum in a clear and easily comprehensible manner.
• Manage onsite inventory and classroom cleanliness.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including classroom documentation (If applicable).
• Productive attendance and timeliness to all scheduled classes.
• Required reliable transportation and an address to receive inventory boxes.
• Required Technology knowledge with IPads, mirror casting, troubleshooting, etc.
• Preferred - EKG knowledge and work experience
• Work directly with the Licensing Director at PTS for all quarterly or annual state audits, licensing paperwork, and/or attending possible site visits at the location. **All of these tasks will need to be completed under the direction and supervision of the Licensing Director.**
• Depending on your location additional state regulatory director training may be required.

State Requirements:

• High school Diploma or an equivalent recognized by the State Board
• Minimum of five years experience in Phlebotomy OR an undergraduate degree from a four year college and a minimum of three years experience in Phlebotomy (Experience within the last 10 years)
• Experience in Administration (Training, corrective action, etc.)

AM Shift: Monday- Thursday, 9:00AM - 1:00PM

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Phlebotomy: 3 years (Required)
• Management/Administrative: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• Medical Technical Certificate (Phlebotomy, CNA, etc.) (Preferred)
