May collaborate with educational institutions to provide additional or specialized training. Additionally, Training Center Manager may be responsible for supervising trainers and instructors. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Training Center Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Training Center Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     • Ability to work weekends occasionally
    • The Cardiology Nurse Practitioner is a licensed independent practitioner who is manages cardiology patients under the direction of the Cardiovascular Service Director.
    • SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

    - Exercises good judgment, demonstrates effective critical thinking skills
    - Flexible, able to prioritize and address multiple responsibilities concurrently
    - Works effectively under stress and frequently changing job requirements/situations
    - Effective verbal and written communication skills
    - Maintains confidentiality, thinks and acts independently with minimal supervision
    - Maintains regular, consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job location
    - Interpersonal skills necessary to work productively with patient, families, other healthcare staff, and other departments
    - Basic computer skills
    - Personal responsibility for ongoing educational growth, and collaborating with others to provide solutions for continued patient quality

    • PHYSICAL/MENTAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:- Able to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently

    - Possess physical agility and adequate reaction time to respond quickly and appropriately to unexpected patient care needs
    - Needs adequate hearing and visual acuity, including adequate color vision
    - Requires fine motor skills, adequate eye-hand coordination, and ability to grasp and handle objects
    - Able to use proper body mechanics to assist patients in ambulating, transferring in and out of bed, chair or wheelchair
    - Must use standard precautions due to threat of exposure to blood and bodily fluids
    - Needs ability to communicate effectively through reading, writing, and speaking in person or on telephone
    - May be required to lift up to 75 pounds
    - May require periodic use of personal computer
