Training Assistant is responsible for clerical and administrative duties related to the delivery of training and organizational development programs. Schedules training events, coordinates with instructors, obtains and distributes required instructional materials, and communicates schedules and details. Being a Training Assistant processes enrollments and answers routine inquiries regarding courses, schedules, and locations. Uses an information system or database to enter data and produce reports on training statistics, inventory levels or assessments of the programs and instructors. Additionally, Training Assistant coordinates additional services including technical equipment, meals and refreshments, housekeeping, maintenance or repairs. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Training Assistant possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. The Assistant Facility Security Officer will act as the AFSO for Blue Air Training and all applicable cage codes associated with the business unit. The candidate will ensure compliance with all regulatory guidance as defined in the 32 CFR Part 117, National Industrial Security Program (NISP), DoD manuals, company policies, etc.

Minimum Requirements
Position may require travel up to 35% of the time to supported sites. Candidate must have a minimum five (5) years in a FOCI-mitigated environment. Must be a U.S. citizen. Must be able to obtain and maintain the same facility clearance level as the Company. Must complete all required training, as mandated by the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency. Must be able to obtain and maintain COMSEC access. High school diploma or equivalent with extensive NISP experience in an equivalent industrial security professional role. Must be fluent in the English language with good communication and organizational skills. Must be able to work independently or as part of a team. Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
