Trader (Block) jobs in Florida
Trader (Block) is responsible for the timely buying and selling of block orders. Reviews orders to ensure accuracy, proper record keeping, and conformance to regulations. Being a Trader (Block) evaluates market volatility and ensures clients receive the best rate available. Executes stock orders that consist of at least 10,000 shares or that have a value of $200,000 or more. Additionally, Trader (Block) requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and may require state licensure. Typically reports to a manager. Position : Entry Level Options Trader (Remote)
Location : Remote (Worldwide)
Employment Type : Independent Contractor
Experience Level : Minimum 2 years experience in handling investments and trades
Key Responsibilities
- Execute trades in a sub-account within the Maverick Trading firm.
- Develop and implement effective trading strategies.
- Participate actively in regular meetings, courses, and coaching sessions to enhance your trading skills.
- Stay updated on market trends, news, and technological advancements.
- Proactively manage risk and uphold trading discipline.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated passion for trading, with a strong desire to learn and excel.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in trading or managing investments.
- Basic understanding of financial markets.
- Exceptional decision-making abilities.
- Experience with Java is advantageous but not mandatory.
