Total Quality Management Senior Manager jobs in Delaware
Total Quality Management Senior Manager develops and implements an organization's total quality management strategy with policies, programs, and initiatives. Leads cross functional teams to study and develop effective tools, methods, and systems to ensure that the products and services are of the highest quality. Being a Total Quality Management Senior Manager creates standards used to measure quality results and to drive continuous improvements. Utilizes Six Sigma/Lean methodologies. Additionally, Total Quality Management Senior Manager requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to top management. The Total Quality Management Senior Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Total Quality Management Senior Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. *Developmental Disabilities/Program Manager
Do you enjoy working with people with developmental disabilities? Do you have experience with supervising staff, managing residential programs, overseeing people with special needs, and experience with licensing standards?
You will add value by:
- Leading and guiding residential staff in assessing individual strengths and needs
- Being a part of creating a safe and positive environment for the individuals in the residence
- Modeling and supervising positive staff communication/written and verbal
- Performing supervisory duties
- Adhering to the agency policies and procedures and state licensing requirements
- The development and implementation of individual habilitation plans
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in human service or related field preferred
- Experience/background working with individuals with behaviorals
- Experience working with people with disabilities in a community setting
- Computer skills necessary
- Flexible work hours
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Physical exam
- Some of our positions require the ability to work with challenging behaviors
