We are looking for experienced outside sales people who have a proven track record in prospecting, approaching clients and cold calling with the ability to close sales.
We are a fast-growing media company renowned for producing high-quality print publications. With 10 successful publications already established in different cities throughout the United States, we are expanding into the Eugene area this summer. As we prepare to launch our newest publication, we are seeking a talented Sales Executive to lead the sales efforts and contribute to our continued success.
Role and Responsibilities:
As the Publishing Director (Sales Executive), your primary role will be to sell advertising for our community magazine. You will schedule and meet with local businesses in the Eugene area where you will have the opportunity to engage with business owners and heads of marketing, showcasing the unique advertising opportunities our publication offers. You will be responsible for generating a potential client list of local businesses, calling or visiting them to schedule an appointment and later doing a sales presentation in person to close the sale.
As an independent contractor, this position offers flexibility and autonomy, allowing you to manage your own schedule and work from the comfort of your home office while also meeting face to face with the businesses. We are looking for a driven individual, hungry for success, who can build strong, long-term relationships with business owners and who is able to close sales.
Compensation: Commission
Estimated year-one $60,000 to $120,000 for dedicated full-time efforts. Year two brings the potential to earn $150,000 to $250,000
