They are seeking a Product Analyst who is proficient in Japanese language working on a hybrid schedule (3 days on-premise; 2 days remote) out of their North American HQ in Melville, Suffolk County, Long Island, N.Y.
NOTE: This is a hybrid role with 3 days of presence at the company’s in Melville, Long Island, N.Y. with two days remote.

Overview:
• Achieve optimal inventory levels by avoiding stockouts and excess inventory through accurate sales demand forecasts and meticulous product supply management.
• Continuous management and operation of product supply to maximize sales opportunities.
• Supporting creation of sales forecast based on multiple factor, for instance, past actual, future price plan, competitor situation, market situation, and input/request from sales team, field, and/or consumers.
• Utilize large amounts of structured data to understand customer interactions with product and service offerings.
• Collaborate with the team and key sales leaders on critical strategic, organizational, and operational projects aimed at increasing revenue and sales productivity.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Logistics, Import/Export, and Japan HQ to drive alignment and execution on necessary initiatives.
• Analyze key business drivers, such as competitor product and its pricing, market trends, and operating metrics, such as sell-thru, backorders, preorders, market inventory to identify insights and actionable next steps. Translate data into insights and communicate recommendations to management, and cross functional teams.
• Management and reporting of compliance with laws and regulations, such as product certification, by collaborating with HQ Team.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• Bachelor's degree in business development, marketing, or similar.
• Master of business administration degree (MBA) preferred.
• 3 years of relevant experience
• Proficient in Japanese highly preferred.

• Proficiency in integrated business management and CRM software, including PR Workflow and Salesforce.
• Advanced knowledge of business development and sales strategies.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and mathematical skills
• Ability to develop and maintain strong customer relations.
