    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets in the freight and logistics sector.
    2. Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, support, and training to maximize their potential and productivity.
    3. Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs and challenges to provide tailored solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
    4. Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth and proactively address challenges.
    5. Sales Process Optimization: Streamline and optimize the sales process, leveraging technology and data analytics to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and customer experience.
    6. Revenue Generation: Drive sales growth through effective lead generation, pipeline management, and conversion strategies, continuously monitoring performance metrics and adjusting strategies as needed.
    7. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, marketing, and finance, to align sales efforts with company objectives and ensure seamless execution of business initiatives.
    8. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies in sales activities, promoting ethical conduct and integrity throughout the organization.


    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
    • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in sales leadership roles within the freight and logistics industry.
    • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, with a strong focus on revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
    • Deep understanding of freight and logistics operations, market dynamics, and industry trends.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
    • Strong strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales productivity tools.
    • Willingness to travel as needed.
