We are currently seeking a full-time Human Resources Specialist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary contact for employee inquiries about policies, benefits, and payroll.
Manage time and attendance, ensure punctuality, proper meal breaks, and accurate entry of hours in the ADP TotalSource system.
Handle distribution of new hire packets, benefits information, and assist with paperwork and benefits enrollment and act as the main liaison with health insurance and employee benefits providers.
Process payroll, review timesheets, add missed punches, and coordinate with ADP TotalSource.
Maintain secure electronic and physical payroll and salary records.
Screen resumes, process job applications, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
Support hiring activities, including job postings, document management, and orientation.
Facilitate setup of emails, computer access, and timesheets for new hires in collaboration with the Operations and Fiscal Departments.
Train new employees on the timesheet and ADP TotalSource systems.
Assist with payroll administration and budgeting.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Conduct one-month check-ins with new hires and coordinate additional training if needed.
Prepare and conduct annual performance reviews and development plans.
Resolve conflicts between employees and supervisors, providing counseling as needed.
Report to management on timekeeping, attendance, and disciplinary issues.
Organize company lunches and team-building events to enhance workplace culture.
Assist in managing employee supervision of employees.
Attend team and staff meetings.
Support efforts to monitor and improve employee productivity and performance (KPIs).
Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree (BA) in English, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field, or four years of equivalent experience/training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Excellent multi-tasking, prioritizing, and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Microsoft Office, Google, and QuickBooks.
A keen eye for detail, especially in documentation.
