Job Summary
As the EHS&S Manager at our facility, you will uphold our Core Values of Passion, Teamwork, and Excellence under the guidance of the Plant Manager. Your role will encompass overseeing Employee Health and Safety, Environmental Compliance, and Sustainability programs within the plant.
Responsibilities- Manage and implement Employee Health and Safety programs
- Ensure compliance with corporate EHS processes and regulations
- Conduct investigations and root cause analysis to prevent EHS incidents
- Develop, initiate, and train employees on EHS programs
- Analyze data to enhance plant EHS performance
- Lead sustainability initiatives aligned with long-term targets
- Act as the Environmental Management Representative for the ISO 14001 Management System
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and prepare necessary reports
- Maintain environmental management plans and facilitate wastewater treatment processes
- Collaborate with regulatory agencies and participate in audits
- Support material movement and uphold food safety policies
- 3 years of experience managing EHS programs
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field
- Certification in Safety (CSP), Industrial Hygiene (CIH), or HazMat (CHMM) preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles
- Willingness to work flexible shifts in a 24/7 manufacturing environment
