Job Description:
Our client is looking for a Contract Manager where you will play a pivotal role in developing and managing cost-effective provider networks. Reporting to the NH Director of Contracting and Provider Engagement, you will oversee all aspects of provider contracting and network development in New Hampshire. This includes leading negotiations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and optimizing network performance.

Key Functions/Responsibilities:

• Assist provider partners in interpreting data tools and analytics
• Ensure integrity of contracting and implementation processes
• Demonstrate proficiency in various payment methodologies
• Support strategic network composition initiatives
• Lead provider implementation efforts
• Ensure provider compliance with contractual and regulatory standards
• Participate in cross-functional workgroups
• Gather and analyze data to assess network adequacy and performance
• Develop strategies for improving network cost, utilization, and quality
• Negotiate financial and contractual terms with providers
• Maintain business relationships with key contracting entities
• Contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Administration, Business, or related field
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a contracting and analytical leadership role (4 years without a bachelor's degree)
• Competencies, Skills, and Attributes:
  • Analytical skills in financial and quality performance assessment
  • Knowledge of contract finance and provider reimbursement methodologies
  • Understanding of healthcare industry trends and payment reform strategies
