Tool Crib Attendant inventories, stores, and distributes hand tools and other equipment. Maintains tool functionality, calibration specifications, and safe condition by performing frequent inspections of tools and equipment for wear, defects, or damage. Being a Tool Crib Attendant keeps an inventory of tools by tracking the distribution of tools and users in a database or other system. Orders new tools and equipment or repairs tools as needed. Additionally, Tool Crib Attendant has training and experience in an industrial environment with familiarity of heavy machinery and tools. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Tool Crib Attendant possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Job Summary
Responsable del manejo y coordinación necesaria del almacén de piezas. Operar la Central de Mantenimiento recibiendo llamados, asignando los técnicos a los equipos y compartir reportes de paradas para reducir el impacto a la productividad.
Job Responsibilities- Coordina las necesidades de piezas y equipo junto a los supervisores.
- Realiza requisición de piezas y materiales necesarios para la reparación o mantenimiento a equipos y maquinaria y, se la entrega al supervisor para ser procesada.
- Manejar órdenes de compra de piezas y equipos.
- Recibe y despacha piezas.
- Realiza “Clycle Count” para inventario.
- Entra y da de baja las piezas con los “work orders” de los mecánicos en Facility Works.
- Realiza otras tareas relacionadas al puesto.
- Provee reportes y seguimiento de partes ordenadas.
- Asiste a los llamados de manufactura para la asignación de los técnicos de manera oportuna a las maquinas o estaciones que necesiten el soporte, para reducir tiempo de las paradas.
- Recopila los formularios de las paradas, asegurando que estén correctamente documentados.
- Introduce la data de las paradas en la plataforma de datos de la Central.
- Responsable de crear y enviar el reporte final del turno de downtime acumulado, de la Central de Mantenimiento.
- Comunica los escalamientos de las paradas cuando estas excedan el tiempo y la frecuencia definidas por la gerencia.
- Valida que el cliente esté conforme con el recibimiento del equipo.
- Mantiene y actualiza continuamente la información y, vela por el funcionamiento correcto y continuo de las pantallas informativas ubicadas en la planta.
- Aplica y comunica los temas relacionados a discrepancia de downtime y faltas de soporte técnico.
Education level required- Eduacion: Certificación de Escuela Vocacional en mecánica, electrónica o electricidad.
- Experiencia: Mínimo de un (1) año de experiencia en trabajo relacionados al servicio y apoyo al cliente e inventario.
Skills
Technical knowledge- Manejo proficiente de computadoras
- MS Office 365(Excel, Word, PWP, Outlook, Internet Explorer, otros)
- Inglés básico (Preferible) – Comprensión, lectura y redacción.
- Manejo de matematicas basico - suma, resta, multiplicación, división
- Trabajo en equipo, liderazgo, sentido de urgencia y eficiencia, destrezas de organización y comunicación transparente.
- Es apasionado por lo que hace. Toma decisiones y ejecuta de manera Etica. Buenas destrezas de redaccion y manejo de documentos. Es aprendíz y tambien transmite de su conocimiento enseñando a otros.
