Testing Technician, Sr. jobs in Arizona

Quality Testing, LLC (QT) is an Arizona owned and operated construction & inspection firm headquartered in Gilbert, Arizona. We offer construction materials testing, inspection and geotechnical services. We are offering a great opportunity to qualified Technicians with proven construction engineering experience for government and private contracts to perform construction materials testing and field observations. This will include asphalt lab testing, field inspection, field testing, in place density testing, utility installation, obtaining samples, etc.

Position Requirements:

• Prepare daily field reports documenting the test results.
• Independently operate relevant testing equipment.
• Verify and document locations, quantities and testing by others.
• Background in soil, concrete, construction, environmental, laboratory, and asphalt sampling, testing and inspection preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Required ACI & ATTI Certifications.
• GED or HS Diploma plus 2 years of related engineering experience.

Work Environment:

May be subject to the following conditions/physical requirements dependent upon area of assignment: Adverse weather conditions, lifting in excess of 75 pounds, extended walking over rough terrain, climbing over 10 feet, exposure to hazardous materials, continuous loud noises, strenuous physical activity and/or proximity to large construction equipment.

This is a full-time position. Some positions may require travel. Some overtime may be requested.
