Telecommunications Engineering Technician assists telecommunication engineers in the design and analysis of telecommunication networks. Creates plans and drawings detailing the layout of routers, circuits, cables, switches, or other telecommunications equipment. Being a Telecommunications Engineering Technician ensures network connectivity for end-users. May evaluate existing networks and recommend design changes to improve performance. Additionally, Telecommunications Engineering Technician requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Telecommunications Engineering Technician may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Our Aviation Services Department is a small, but very successful group, with a focus on airport related projects. Our aviation team has experience on hundreds of projects at more than 60 airports in the region.
Our Sioux Falls office is seeking a key civil engineering technician staff addition to allow for continued growth.
Entry level or experienced applicants are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
The position will include surveying, design, and construction observation on all types of airport related projects.
Experience with surveying, design or construction on civil engineering projects is a plus.
