IT Quality Assurance Analyst with ACCELQ Experience
My name is Bill Stevens and I have a new seven month plus IT Quality Assurance Analyst opportunity available for a major firm located in Saint Charles, Missouri that could be of interest to you, please review my specification below and I am available at any time to speak with you so please feel free to call me. The work schedule will be a hybrid one, two days a week in the office and three days remote, the hours for this role can be either 7:00 am to 4:00 pm or 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
The ideal candidate should also possess a green card or be of citizenship. No Visa entanglements and no H1-B holding companies.
This position pays $45.00 per hour on a w-2 hourly basis.
Responsibilities:
Develops test plans, test cases, test scripts and test reports on multiple projects of varying size
Performs testing on various software, integrations and reporting systems
Validates that user expectations are achieved during the testing process
Reviews user requirements documents to ensure that requirements are testable
Documents and reports system defects to the project team
Develops automated scripts for regression testing
Identifies and communicates business risks relative to testing and implementation for evaluation by project teams and management
Works with analysts, developers and project managers to determine the most effective testing and inspection strategy for projects of varying complexity and size
Ensures that measurable test objectives are established for each system being tested
Ensures that defects uncovered in the test are recorded, summarized and utilized in post project reviews in an effort to improve the development and test processes
Works with Systems Development team and business to ensure the timely, thorough testing of technological enhancements prior to release to a production environment
Performs other related duties as required
Education & Experience:
Minimum of 3 years prior experience in a Quality Assurance Analyst or Tester role within a Microsoft ‘stack.’
Experience with TFS/VSO and Jira preferred
Experience with AccelQ Preferred
Requirements:
Proficient in writing use cases and test plans, testing criteria, including data type validation, pass/fail conditions, boundary conditions, as well as experience designing, developing and testing processes for data
Working knowledge of Waterfall and Agile/Scrum software methodologies
Proven ability to use SQL as a tool to generate, manipulate and manage test data
Working knowledge of Automated Testing tools such as Microsoft Test Manager, Selenium or other related products
Familiarity with all aspects of Quality Assurance testing of software, including Unit, System and Regression testing
Proven ability to self-direct own workload while maintaining a pro-active, collaborative approach
