Technical Training Manager leads the design and delivery of technical training programs. Determines training objectives by conducting analysis of overall needs and specific skill or knowledge gaps. Being a Technical Training Manager manages the development of training programs and materials including outlines, text, handouts, hands on exercises, and training evaluations. Summary
This position works closely with the Subsidiary President, Vice Presidents, Directors, Operations, and Site Management to communicate and implement the Safety, Health, and Environmental Programs (SH&EP) to the subsidiary company(s). The subsidiary SH&EP Manager supports the strategic objectives, works within budgetary constraints, maintains compliance with applicable state and federal laws and regulations, promotes loss prevention programs, and protects the company's employees and physical assets from accidental loss or disruption. This position will require 80% travel.
The subsidiary SH&EP Manager is responsible for the management of SH&EP programs throughout the subsidiary company(s) and is responsible for the development and implementation of SH&EP programs to promote occupational safety, health, and environmental compliance and to reduce accidents, occupational illnesses, and exposures to long-term health hazards through hazard recognition, evaluation, and control practices to include: development of site-specific safety plans; safety training of supervisors, managers, and staff; planned inspections; planned job observations, rules and practices; job/activity analysis procedures; behavior-based safety programs; and other engineering, work practice/administrative and protective equipment Practices.
The salary range for this position is $124,637-$157,042/year. This position requires 80% travel.
