Understands requirements for technical positions, develops job advertisements and screens resumes/applications. Being a Technical Recruiter contacts candidates to ascertain fit, and schedules interviews. Extends offers and negotiates compensation. Additionally, Technical Recruiter initiates onboarding plan for new hires. Ensures assigned positions are filled efficiently and effectively. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Technical Recruiter occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     2. Validate: A recruiter validates the candidates’ experience and skill sets against our client’s position.
    3. Initial Screening: Based on the position and the client’s work culture, the recruiter uses initial screening questions to determine the most suitable candidates.
    4. Submit: the recruiter will submit to the technical team qualified candidates who have passed the initial screening.
    5. Technical Screening: The technical team then prepares a matrix of the particular requirements and required experience for the position and using a list of questions and the results, re-validates the candidates’ technical skills.
    6. Background Check: Administrative personnel will provide a detailed background check, as required, per client agreement.
    7. On board: On successfully completing the above steps, the candidates are welcomed on board and assisted to ensure a smooth integration at the client’s location.

    Job Description:

    Represent and coordinate local Harris recruiting needs to attract and acquire top talent to meet growing business needs.

    Provide full life cycle technical recruiting, including but not limited to interfacing with hiring managers to create and review requisitions, screen resumes, interview candidates, administer appropriate assessments, reference/background checking, make recommendations for hire and deliver employment offers.

    Follow appropriate approval processes, use traditional and non-traditional resources to identify and attract quality candidates.

    Develop and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals.

    Requires frequent use and strong knowledge of industry practices, techniques and standards.

    Acts as a resource to managers and employees in the organization through the staffing process.

    Manage current candidate activity in tracking system.

    Stays current and knowledgeable on industry trends and performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience

    7 years of technical recruiting experience

    NSA experience is required

    Strong sourcing skills

    Proven ability to meet objectives and deadlines in fast paced, dynamic environment

    Demonstrated organization skills and the ability to multi-task

    Proven communication, presentation and facilitation skills
