Position Overview: We are looking for a Tax Manager to join our team. This position will be responsible for managing the taxes of our company, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local taxes. The Tax Manager will be responsible for preparing tax returns, developing tax strategies, and providing tax advice to our business.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the taxes of the company and ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local taxes
• Prepare tax returns and other filings, such as estimated tax payments, timely and accurately
• Develop and recommend strategies to reduce taxes and maximize savings
• Provide tax advice to the business, including tax planning and structuring
• Perform research on tax matters and provide tax guidance
• Review tax returns prepared by outside consultants
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax regulations and changes
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
• 5 years of experience in tax, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
• Strong knowledge of sales tax, federal tax, use tax, and tax compliance
• Experience with C Corps, state taxes, and excise taxes
• Experience in public accounting or tax accounting preferred
• Excellent problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
