The Sr. Corporate Tax Accountant is responsible for assisting or preparing tax returns and payments. This will involve income taxes, sales and use tax, fuel tax, and other state and local taxes. In this role, you are involved with tax compliance and strategy. You demonstrate strong organization and time management skills to ensure the company meets tight deadlines. You research current tax regulations and laws and follow changes.

What will I do as a Sr. Corporate Tax Accountant?
Here are just some of the things you will do in this role:- Prepare tax payments.
- Estimate and track tax returns.
- Complete quarterly and annual tax reports.
- Coordinate with accounting department to track timely submission of various returns.
- Recommend tax strategies that align with business goals.
- Follow industry trends and track changes related to taxes.
- Liaise with tax advisors.
- Assist with month-end and year-end reconciliations and financial statement review procedures.
- Additional duties as assigned.

- Proven work experience as a Tax Accountant, Tax Analyst, or Tax Preparer.
- Knowledge of general ledger accounting including the preparation of journal. entries and account reconciliations.
- Familiarity with accounting software packages.
- Computer literacy (Excel in particular).
- Excellent analytical and time management skills.
- A keen attention to detail.
The work may be done in a sitting position with no excessive lifting, pulling, or pushing, and limited twisting, bending, and stooping. While performing the duties of this job, there is required use of hands and fingers to handle or feel objects and controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear.
