The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for the oversight of daily operations and monitoring of the staff/faculty recruitment and on boarding process. As a critical member of the Human Resources team, the Manager serves as an internal knowledge expert and lead for designated staff, delegating and checking work and guiding to ensure optimum operational efficiency. Assists in recruitment operations and activities as needed and serves as an external representative for constituents while providing high-quality customer service. In the absence of the Director, assumes management of day-to-day operations.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of and the ability to use various standardized office equipment such as telephones, computers, fax machines, copiers, etc.
Knowledge of and ability to use various standardized word processing, database or spreadsheet preparation software
Excellent attention to accuracy and detail
Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to interact with individuals internal and external to the organization in an effective, courteous, and productive manner
Ability to maintain confidentiality in all work performed
Excellent grammar skills, and the ability to produce error-free correspondence and work products

Must have a broad, working knowledge of HR functions including regulatory and legal aspects.

Required Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's Degree or high school diploma and six years of directly related work experience
Three years of recruitment or human resources experience
Preferred Qualifications
An advanced degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or in a related area
Experience in managing and developing HR staff members performing a variety of HR functions
Experience in recruiting and applicant tracking
Professional certification preferred, SHRM-CP, PHR, CRS, recruitment certification
