Systems Capacity Analyst analyzes server data by monitoring information system performance and makes recommendations on the process and utilization. Operates and modifies machine to increase information system capacity. Being a Systems Capacity Analyst recommends hardware acquisitions and evaluates practicability of vendor's proposal. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Systems Capacity Analyst typically reports to a supervisor. To be a Systems Capacity Analyst typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Job Description
Supporting and troubleshooting backup, recovery, and archiving for the entire server environment including VMWare virtual machines and physical Windows Servers, by performing daily monitoring and management of Veritas NetBackup.
Administrator of the Oracle SL150 Tape Library and participates in the SOC 2 audits for backups and EIS baseline and external security vulnerabilities.
Participate in the teams On-Call rotation, with needed skills include Windows Server, VMWare, Client servers, and user administration.
