You will serve as a Supply Systems Analyst in the NAVSUP FLC Norfolk Bath Supply Support Division of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER NORFOLK.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing Supply Systems Analyst work applying in-depth knowledge of supply systems/management principles, methods, and concepts to independently examine, study, and analyze processes and functions related to Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) for all New Construction and Ship Availabilities Contractual issues and for processing, expediting and accounting for material equipment and repair parts, related to ILS for all assigned ships. I have experience analyzing and reviewing assigned tasks related to COSAL development and outfitting to develop detailed solution to difficult problems and ensure the most efficient and economical methods of accomplishment. I have utilized my knowledge of Information systems programming and applications for computer equipment to participate in systems analysis, design, development and testing of material management information systems including the writing of complete and comprehensive functional descriptions for needed system programming modifications to material management information systems, such as Real Time Outfitting Management Information System (ROMIS) , Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) or other Inventory management System and any new configuration control programs. Examples of specialized experience may include some or all of the following: (1) Investigating and resolving specific contractual issues and technical specification issues related to Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) for DDG-51, DDG-1000, MMSC and FFCG class ships and the outfitting /fitting out process; (2) Designing and implementing shared databases in various Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) areas including COSAL, Allowance Baseline Comparison, and Schedule A; (3) Ensuring appropriate planning and acquisition actions are taken so that all Government Furnished Material (GFM) is received in support of ship construction and availability contracts; (4) Systemically analyze information and program problems in Supply System (ROMISS-MMS) area in order to conceptualize the effects and ramifications to changes and recommended alternatives; (5) Analyzing contractual documents, shipbuilder's specifications and technical documents relating to shipboard ILS in order to identify/investigate problems, produce factual information and provide recommendations for corrective actions; (6) Utilizing a knowledge of programming and applications of computer equipment to support ILS program management responsibilities and write complete and comprehensive functional descriptions for programming being done by commercial programmers; and (7) Conducting survey and studies of logistics integration operations to determine proper application of current and future information management methods, e.g. review of provisioning technical documentation and the ship outfitting/fitting out process for new construction navy vessels.
