SUMMARY
Works closely with production to effectively meet on time delivery of customer requirements while maximizing departmental utilizations and efficiencies. Maintains accurate inventory in system through cycle counts and inventory adjustments. Leads yearly inventory.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Analysis of weekly and daily finished goods (FG) needs.
* Monitor error reports / correct as required.
* Assist in tracking parts from Raw Material to Shipping Dock
* Implement and monitor KANBAN inventory, components and measure compliance.
* Cycle count of inventories (RM/Components/FG) at target to inventory policy.
* Identify and relay trends in fluctuation of order to Supply Chain Manager.
* Work with Raw Material Scheduler to maintain accurate in house inventory.
* Maintains count of dunnage in the plant.
* Establish work instructions with supporting documentation as required.
* Familiarity with all aspects of material handling and shipping requirements.
* AS400 knowledge a plus.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
