Position Summary:
The ESG & Sustainability Analyst will manage key aspects of EG Groups ESG & Sustainability agenda in our US market. Reporting into the Office of the General Counsel’s Corporate Affairs Team, this role will ensure EG Group delivers on its ESG strategy by strengthening data collection and reporting processes.
Responsibilities- Collect, analyze, and validate current and historical environmental data across EG America’s ~1,600 retail sites and store support center.
- Project manage the collation and delivery of other ESG & Sustainability datasets
- Drive action to ensure the business delivers against ESG reporting commitments
- Support the ESG & Sustainability Manager with information on sustainability performance as required
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
Given the cross-functional nature of sustainability/ESG management in a corporate setting, this role may interact with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, which may include: (1) counterparts on the worldwide Sustainability/ESG team; (2) Operations, Communications, Legal, Health/Safety, Manufacturing, Supply/Logistics, Construction, Facilities, and Environmental departments in the U.S. corporate office; (3) our major U.S. suppliers/vendors as needed.
Minimum Education
A high school diploma or equivalent, and enrollment from a related post-secondary program.
Preferred Education
Bachelor’s degree in related field
Minimum Experience
No formal work experience required
Preferred Experience
1 year of applicable experience within the ESG/Sustainability space
Licenses/Certifications
None required
Soft Skills- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Demonstrable knowledge and enthusiasm working in sustainability or environmental fields (e.g. climate change, waste management, ESG reporting/auditing) is essential.

Hours & Conditions: Monday – Friday; 8 hour day in hybrid role based out of EG America headquarters in Westborough, Mass., with an anticipated requirement of 3 days in office per week and the remainder worked remotely.
