Surgeon - Plastic Reconstructive jobs in Minnesota

Surgeon - Plastic Reconstructive examines, diagnoses, and surgically treats patients that have abnormal structures of the body caused by congenital defects, developmental abnormalities, trauma, infection, tumors, or disease. Performs surgery to improve functions and to approximate a normal appearance. Being a Surgeon - Plastic Reconstructive reviews patient history and confirms need for surgery. Determines which instruments and method of surgery will be most successful in achieving desired outcome. Additionally, Surgeon - Plastic Reconstructive may provide medical personnel with direction concerning patient care. May provide in-service training as needed to address new technology in health care treatment. Provides charting in compliance with all laws and regulations. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Typically reports to the chief of surgery. Requires a license to practice. Surgeon - Plastic Reconstructive's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. (Copyright 2024 Salary.com)

    Park Nicollet Clinic is looking for Plastic Surgeon to join our Plastic Surgery team. Being a part of our team means you will have an impact on the care that our patients receive every day.

    We are seeking a BC/BE plastic surgeon to join our well-established and growing clinical practice with 4 experienced surgeons certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, skilled plastic surgery nurses and great support staff. Primary practice location is in St. Louis Park (1 st ring suburb of Minneapolis) with additional clinics in Burnsville and Maple Grove. The practice currently focuses on:

    • breast reconstruction
    • skin cancer reconstruction
    • cosmetic surgery of the face and body
    • skin care services

    Candidate must be well-versed in reconstructive surgery. *Breast Fellowship training a plus. Hand surgery is not within the scope of this practice.
