Surgeon - Neurology jobs in Arkansas
Surgeon - Neurology examines, diagnoses, and surgically treats disorders of the brain, spine, spinal cord, and nerves. Operates on the brain in order to relieve pressure in an intracranial hemorrhage, remove a foreign body such as a tumor, treat a wound, or relieve pain. Being a Surgeon - Neurology operates on the spine in order to free entrapped nerves, correct deformity, or restore spinal stability. Reviews patient history and confirms need for surgery. Additionally, Surgeon - Neurology determines which instruments and method of surgery will be most successful in achieving desired outcome. May provide medical personnel with direction concerning patient care. May provide in-service training as needed to address new technology in health care treatment. Provides charting in compliance with all laws and regulations. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Typically reports to the chief of surgery. Requires a license to practice. Responsibilities
CHI St. Vincent Medical Group located in Hot Springs, AR is recruiting a BC/BE Neurology physician to join a well established and expanding practice. CHI St. Vincent Neurology Clinic is located on the medical campus and attached to the admitting hospital, CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs. CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs was recently named to the Fortune/Merative 100 Top Hospitals List and has earned tops scores in the Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade.
CHI St. Vincent Neurology Clinic:- Current practice consists of 3 providers and 2 APRN
