Surgeon - Cardiothoracic jobs in Missouri
Surgeon - Cardiothoracic specializes in the diagnosis, medical management, and surgical treatment of patients with diseases of the heart and lungs. Determines which instruments and method of surgery will be most successful in achieving desired outcome. Being a Surgeon - Cardiothoracic identifies need for tests or follow-up visits. Reviews patient history and confirms need for surgery. Additionally, Surgeon - Cardiothoracic may provide medical personnel with direction concerning patient care. May provide in-service training as needed to address new technology in health care treatment. Provides charting in compliance with all laws and regulations. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Typically reports to the chief of surgery. Requires a license to practice. Position Summary:
Responsible for seeing and treating patients of the practice by providing clinical, diagnostic, and therapeutic medical services within the Physician’s specialty. Performs medical services in accordance with professional standards prevailing in the community and currently approved methods and practices, including the code of ethics of the American Medical Association and the Missouri Board of Registration for the Healing Arts. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission and values.

Education: MD/DO
Licensure/Certification: BC/BE in Specialty, ACLS and BLS Certified, DEA License, and Missouri Board of Registration of the Healing Arts.
