Support Services Director - Healthcare oversees the health care facility's support services departments. Areas supervised may include laundry, housekeeping, food services, safety, facilities, and maintenance. Develops, implements, and administers the effective, efficient, and safe operation of nonclinical support activities. Additionally, Support Services Director - Healthcare may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Support Services Director - Healthcare typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Daily Responsibilities for Behavioral Health Clinical Director:- Oversee 15 staff members, ensuring adherence to Joint Commission standards, and manage team operations effectively, including supervision of clinicians for licensure hours
- Lead and manage operations at both a residential facility and the outpatient location, providing clinical services to patients when necessary
- Monday – Friday 8am-5pm
- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or health-related field
- Licensed as a Mental Health provider
- Knowledge of Psychopathology, Diagnostic Assessment and Chemical Dependency treatment
- Medical, Dental, Vision
