Structural Engineer designs load-bearing structures or structural elements, such as buildings, bridges, or roadways. Performs analysis of building materials for use in construction. Being a Structural Engineer develops blueprints or specifications for use during construction and ensures all projects comply with applicable codes and regulations. Determines cause of structural failures, damages, and defects through site investigations. Additionally, Structural Engineer provides reports detailing investigations and assessment of damages to the structure. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be a Structural Engineer typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed.     Structural Engineer

    Do you want to use your training, education, and experience in a new and meaningful way?

    We seek a full-time Structural Engineer with broad design and construction expertise to provide investigation, analysis, reports, and testimony where technical and scientific answers are needed to help resolve civil litigation and insurance claims.

    The ideal candidate will have experience in broad structural and vertical construction (horizontal also would be a plus). Construction management, maintenance, and structural design in residential, industrial, institutional, or commercial structures.

    Locations: Nationwide

    Requirements:

    • A degreed engineer from an accredited college is required
    • PE license required; SE license a plus
    • 15 years hands-on experience
    • Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a comprehensive team
    • Excellent technical, analytical, writing, and communication skills
