Staff Nurse - RN - Infusion Therapy jobs in Wyoming

Staff Nurse - RN - Infusion Therapy provides professional nursing care to assigned patients in need of intravenous treatment. Administers intravenous therapeutic treatments as directed by a physician. Being a Staff Nurse - RN - Infusion Therapy determines appropriate venipuncture and/or catheter site. Observes patients' IV treatment and records observations in patient medical records. Additionally, Staff Nurse - RN - Infusion Therapy provides information to patients and families regarding intravenous treatment and procedures. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. May require CRNI certification as an infusion nurse. Requires a valid state RN license. Staff Nurse - RN - Infusion Therapy's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement.     Focus Staff is seeking a traveling OR RN to work as an Operating room nurse (or perioperative nurse) to assist surgeons during operations and keep the operating room sterile at all times.

    Contract Assignment - 13 Weeks (Temporary/Travel/Contract)
    Shift: 3x12 Days

    Requirements:
    • Proven experience as operating room nurse (circulating and scrub)
    • Excellent knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques
    • Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions
    • In-depth knowledge of surgical operation procedures
    • AHA Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.

    • Evaluate patient in postoperative phases
    • Pass medical instruments or other objects to the surgeon during operation
    Work Experience: At least 2 years of OR experience
