Staff Nurse - RN - Infusion Therapy provides professional nursing care to assigned patients in need of intravenous treatment. Administers intravenous therapeutic treatments as directed by a physician. Being a Staff Nurse - RN - Infusion Therapy determines appropriate venipuncture and/or catheter site. Observes patients' IV treatment and records observations in patient medical records. Additionally, Staff Nurse - RN - Infusion Therapy provides information to patients and families regarding intravenous treatment and procedures. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. May require CRNI certification as an infusion nurse. Requires a valid state RN license. Staff Nurse - RN - Infusion Therapy's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement.     We’re looking for a Per Diem Infusion Nurse who is passionate about raising the bar in infusion therapy care.

    The Infusion Nurse will contribute to the company’s growth by providing direct patient care at our centers in Augusta and South Portland. The Infusion Nurse will make sure our patients receive the highest level of care possible in infusion therapy.

    The Infusion Nurse will be based in Maine (primarily based in Augusta & South Portland). The ideal candidate has experience working autonomously, and experience starting IVs and working with biologic drugs. The Infusion Nurse role is perfect for those wishing to remain at the forefront of healthcare innovation, while having predictable hours, autonomy, and a manageable workload (always a 3:1 patient to clinician ratio).

    In this role, you will:

    • Assess and document the health status of the patient
    • Deliver infusions or injections in accordance with prescribed protocols and organization guidelines
    • Assist in maintaining medical inventory and supplies
    • Openly communicate with referring/prescribing providers, such as order clarification, patient status, and plan of care
    • Work at multiple facilities (Augusta & Maine) within the market as needed
    • Provide onsite supervision for all patients
    • Must be able to work on Friday's at our Augusta location and on Monday's at our South Portland location. Could be more house potential in the future.

    Here’s what we’re looking for:

    • Current RN licensure in New Hampshire
    • ACLS & PALS Certification (preferred)
    • Current BLS CPR certification
    • Excellent IV skills (infusion therapy experience a plus)
    • Experience and strong familiarity utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
    • Ability to work on Friday's and Monday's. This has the potential to turn into full-time work.
